A small third-floor museum in Kent House, Rutland Gardens, run by the Memorial Scrolls Trust. It tells the story of Torah scrolls rescued from Prague in 1964 and restored by hand in London, and explains the Czech Jewish history behind them. Visits are by appointment only and are led by volunteer guides, with a tour lasting around an hour for groups of up to twenty people. Cheder and B'nai Mitsvah groups are welcome by arrangement, so it suits school and religious-education groups and older children learning about the Holocaust and Jewish heritage. Access to the museum floor is by lift. It is a quiet, reflective visit rather than a hands-on attraction, best suited to older children and teenagers, and the trust asks that visitors are notified in advance.
