Cliff Lane car park is for Blue Badge and permit holders only. Public parking nearby at Athena Hall off Duke Street (IP3 0DT), a few minutes' walk from the Myrtle Road and Cliff Lane entrances.

Holywells is a beautiful open space, with stunning trees and ponds, and a green hub for the community, extending over 28 hectares of picturesque grounds with a history dating back to medieval times. The park is a County Wildlife Site, a Conservation Area with two listed buildings (the Stable Block and Conservatory), and is on the English Heritage Register of Historic Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest. Attractions include the Imagination Island children's play area with water-themed play equipment, a summer splash pad, a walled garden with open-air theatre space and maze, a teen area with outdoor gym equipment and table tennis, various trails including a Trim Trail, an ice house, a bowling green, and the Stable Block visitor centre with cafés.
Splash pad (water play) operates in summer months only - late May to early September, 7 days a week 11:00-17:00, for children up to age 8; closed outside the summer season. Park itself is open all year.
