Dunstable Library is Central Bedfordshire Council's public library for Dunstable, based inside The Dunstable Centre on Court Drive - the town's community sports and cultural hub - and open seven days a week. The children's library is a firm favourite with local families: Rhymetime for under-5s runs every Tuesday morning in term time (10:00-10:30), Baby Sensory sessions on Thursday mornings, and a themed Story Time one Wednesday a month (booking required). There are also free drop-in sessions including Messy Mondays, Toddler Sensory Play on Fridays, Playtime with Duplo and Knex on Saturdays, Bee-Bots and Lego SPIKE coding clubs, Robot Fun, Gaming Sessions for ages 8+, and Draw & Sketch Tablets for ages 5+. School holidays bring extra craft activities and events. The library offers free WiFi, free internet computers, printing, photocopying, a lift, ramps and automatic doors, with public parking on site at The Dunstable Centre. Rhymetime, story time and all library activities are free, and most sessions run term-time only - check the What's On page for the latest schedule.
