No on-site parking. Metered/pay-and-display street parking on surrounding streets; multi-storey car park at Lurke Street (5 min walk). Blue badge holders can park on Mill Street or Albany Road.

The Panacea Museum is a small independent museum in the centre of Bedford, housed in several Victorian buildings that once formed the headquarters of the Panacea Society - a remarkable Christian community founded in the early twentieth century. Families can explore ornate period rooms, beautiful gardens and changing exhibitions, with free admission throughout.
There is lots for families to enjoy: activity trails, hats to try on, colouring sheets, wooden toys, napkin folding and garden games in summer. The museum is parent and baby friendly, with a baby changing station in the accessible toilet (wide enough for prams and buggies), a high chair in the Tea Room, and picnics welcome on the lawn.
Please note the museum has seasonal, limited opening hours - open Thursday to Sunday in the main summer season - and is closed over the winter months.
