Putnoe Library is a friendly public library in the Putnoe area of Bedford, run by Bedford Borough Council. It's a free, indoor spot for families with young children, with a busy weekly programme of kids' activities during term time: Rhyme Time on Tuesdays (11am-11.30am), Bounce and Rhyme for babies and toddlers on Thursdays (11am-11.30am), Building Block Play for age 1+ on Tuesdays (11.30am-12pm) and Lego Club on Saturdays (10am-3.30pm), plus Saturday Story sessions. During the school holidays there are free drop-in family craft sessions most weekdays and Story Time on Thursdays. Facilities include free Wi-Fi, public computers, printing and photocopying, an accessible entrance and a public car park. Books, audiobooks and e-resources are free to borrow with a library card, and the team can point you to the wider What's On programme for children across Bedford Borough.
