Hay Castle is a restored medieval castle in the heart of Hay-on-Wye, Powys, opened to the public in 2022 after a major restoration by the Hay Castle Trust. Explore exhibitions telling the castle's story, join a guided tower tour (daily at 11am and 2pm, group tours on request), and visit the cafe, shop and Great Hall - all free to enter. The site is family-friendly, with workshops, talks and clubs in the Clore Learning Space, and dogs are welcome on the ground floor and in the grounds. Open 10am to 5pm, seven days a week. Adult entry is GBP 7.50 (ticket valid for 12 months) and under 18s go free.
