Nant Gwernol is the eastern terminus of the world-famous Talyllyn Railway, the first preserved railway in the world. Located in the scenic Fathew Valley near Corris, this narrow-gauge steam railway station offers visitors a glimpse into Victorian railway heritage. The Talyllyn Railway runs historic steam trains from Tywyn Wharf to Nant Gwernol, passing through Dolgoch Falls and the stunning Snowdonia National Park landscape. Kid-friendly and family-oriented, the railway offers a memorable day out with steam train rides, walking trails, and a chance to explore the beautiful Welsh countryside.
