Broadway Museum & Art Gallery is a friendly, family-oriented museum in the heart of Broadway village, on the northern gateway to the Cotswolds. It is housed in Tudor House, a Grade II* listed building on the High Street, and is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich history and cultural life of Broadway.

The museum tells the story of Broadway through interactive exhibitions and permanent collections, including the Cabinet of Curiosities (supported by the Ashmolean), 16th-17th century and 18th-19th century rooms, plus rotating shows such as 'Buried Lives: Unearthing 8,000 Years of Broadway's History', the Broadway Colony of Creativity, the Broadway Coaching Story and the Wool exhibition. Art highlights have included 'Willard Wigan: Tiny World', a breath-taking journey into the world of microscopic sculpture.

Families are especially well catered for. There is a free Family Play Space, a Sensory Space and a Family Creative Space open throughout the day, plus a lively programme of hands-on children's activities including fossil handling workshops, butter churning, slime making, tote bag printing, beaker pottery and painting sessions, and living history days. Under 16s go free, making it an affordable day out in the Cotswolds.

The museum has a gift shop and accessible toilet. Please note that due to the age and layout of the Grade II* listed building, the museum is not currently accessible to wheelchair users; there is one disabled parking space opposite the museum. Nearest main car park is Shear House Long Stay, Broadway WR12 7ET.

Open Mon-Sat 10am-4.30pm (last entry 4pm), closed Sundays. See the museum website for current exhibitions, events and workshop dates.
