A heritage railway running steam and diesel trains through 16 miles of Worcestershire and Shropshire countryside. Passengers journey behind original steam locomotives and heritage diesel engines, calling at beautifully restored original stations. The Engine House Visitor Centre at Highley displays impressive engines and interactive railway exhibits. The calendar includes themed events such as Summer Fun with Robin Hood and his Merry Friends, Singin' on the Train, and special experiences including dining trains and the chance to drive a steam or diesel train.
Seasonal operating days: trains run on specific dates through the year (Spring Gala, Summer season, Brick Weekend, Christmas specials). Check the SVR online calendar before travelling.
