The Village Church Farm Museum

The Village Church Farm Museum (formerly Church Farm Museum) is a volunteer-run open-air museum set in three acres of gardens and orchards, a short distance from the centre of Skegness. Families can explore the Georgian/Victorian farmhouse - the oldest house in Skegness, dating from 1760 - the thatched 'mud and stud' farm labourer's cottage, a 19th-century stable block and cowshed, and Bob the Hornsby traction engine, plus displays of 19th- and 20th-century farm implements and machinery. There are regular events and exhibits through the year, a tea room, seasonal produce from the orchard and cottage garden, and an off-road car park. Entry is free by donation on standard days; some special events carry a small charge. Dogs are welcome but not inside the exhibition buildings. Last admission is one hour before closing.
