What’s there

  • Café on site
  • Paid parking

Paid public car park (Saba) - code LDMGuest2025 gives 10% off short-stay when booked via Saba app/website. Museum entrance is on the quayside, not accessible by car; coach drop-off on Hertsmere Road (no parking permitted).

Only facilities we’ve confirmed are listed — anything missing here we simply haven’t checked, rather than know to be absent.

London Museum Docklands tells the story of the Thames, the port and the people who worked it, in a Grade I listed Georgian sugar warehouse on West India Quay. Entry is free.

For families the draw is Mudlarks, an interactive play gallery for under-8s where children dig, weigh cargo and work a scaled-down dockside. There is also plenty for older children in the galleries themselves, including the sailortown reconstruction of Victorian riverside streets.

Open 10am to 5pm every day.
