Leighton Buzzard Railway is a heritage railway running trains along a three-mile line up to five times a week from March to October, with Santa Specials in December. The venue offers themed events including a Pirates Weekend where visitors can bring water pistols to fight off pirates whose ship may attack the train. The railway is extending passenger services into the countryside along the original route and improving facilities for families with historical information and activities for children.
