The Great Orme Tramway is Britain's only funicular, cable-hauled tramway that travels on public roads. Since opening in 1902, restored original tramcars—each named after a Saint—climb a mile through the Great Orme Country Park and Nature Reserve to the summit, starting from Victoria Station near Llandudno's seafront. The journey recreates travel from over 100 years ago, with interactive exhibits explaining the tramway's mechanical workings and history from 1902 to the present day.

Open from March to early November (exact dates vary - call 01492 577877 or email [email protected]).
