Lavant Equestrian is a well-established horse riding centre (since 1998) set in 80 acres of the South Downs National Park near Chichester. Children can begin with Woodland Walks (toddlers and pre-schoolers) and progress to weekly group lessons from age 4, taught by experienced, qualified instructors in groups of no more than six. Facilities include an 80m x 30m indoor riding school, two international-sized floodlit outdoor arenas, cross-country courses, and covered, heated spectator areas. School holiday and weekend programmes include Activity Days, Pony Owning Days and Riding Camps. The centre runs a weekly membership model; 45-minute introductory rides are available to start.
