Tower Farm Riding Stables

Tower Farm Riding Stables is a fully licensed and insured riding school in south Edinburgh, approved by the British Horse Society, ABRS and TRSS. Established in 1972, it offers private instruction, group lessons, small group sessions, fun mornings, beach rides and ride outs for all ages and stages, with a diverse range of horses and ponies (11hh to 17hh). The team can cater for most requests, including disabled riders, and welcomes nurseries, schools and clubs. Lessons take place in a 25m x 45m indoor arena with a viewing gallery, alongside floodlit outdoor arenas. Helmets, footwear and body protectors are available to borrow free of charge. For safety, children are recommended to be 4 years and over for private or group lessons, and 8 years and over for 1-hour rides; body protectors are insisted on for under-16s jumping. Advanced booking is absolutely essential for all lessons and rides - riders without a prior booking cannot be accommodated. Bookings are made online via the ECpro system (tower-farm.ecpro.co.uk), where riders register and are graded by ability before booking.
