Seacliff Stables is a family-run horse riding and carriage driving centre on the East Lothian coast, two miles from North Berwick. Hour-long rides cross private land with minimal traffic, taking in views of Tantallon Castle, the Bass Rock and Seacliff Beach. Beach riding is available for intermediate and above riders (subject to tides and availability). Children aged 4 and over can enjoy half-hour taster rides, and the home-bred, trustworthy schoolmaster horses suit beginners, nervous riders and children. Groups are split by ability with a maximum of 5 riders per group, and hats and boots are available for occasional riders. Rides run 7 days a week by advance booking — typical ride times are 9am, 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2.00pm.
