Scropton Riding for the Disabled, trading as Scropton Horse Centre, is a registered charity and RDA UK member group offering activities with horses for health, wellbeing and sport. The centre is open to all levels of ability: mainstream riding lessons for ages 6+, additional special needs (ASN) riding for ages 5+, plus horse care, horse agility and weekly horse clubs. Sessions run on weekdays and weekends (daytime and some evenings) by arrangement and last 30, 45 or 60 minutes, in groups of up to 6 or 1:1. Facilities include BHS-approved teaching, an arena available for hire, flat level parking, accessible mounting blocks or hoist, disabled toilets and a coffee bar. New visitors start by completing a participant form and pre-booking is essential.
