Step back in time at SEA LIFE Brighton, the world's oldest continually operating aquarium, opened in 1872 on Brighton's seafront at Marine Parade. Wander through the beautifully restored Victorian Arcade to meet more than 5,000 marine creatures, including sharks, turtles, jellyfish, seahorses and tropical fish. Highlights include the 750,000-litre Ocean Display, the UK's first indoor Glass Bottom Boat ride, the Rainforest Adventure zone and interactive rockpools. Family-friendly with daily talks and feeding times, monthly 'Quiet at the Aquarium' sensory-friendly sessions, a Changing Places facility and a coffee shop in the Victorian Arcade. Under 2s go free. Pre-booking online is essential and the attraction is cashless.
