Kirkcaldy Galleries is a free cultural hub in War Memorial Gardens, combining an art gallery, museum, library, café and shop. The venue houses renowned Scottish art collections including the Scottish Colourists, permanent museum displays covering Kirkcaldy's industrial and social history (linen, whaling, pottery, coal, linoleum), and a local and family history room. Year-round events, exhibitions and family activities make it a vibrant community space. Described by The Times as 'One of the best gallery and art spaces in Scotland.'
