Lossiemouth Fisheries and Community Museum is a local museum based in Lossiemouth in the North East of Scotland, staffed by 20 volunteers from the community. Housed in former fishing stores on Pitgaveny Quay since opening in 1984, the museum showcases the town's rich fishing industry heritage through extensive collections of model fishing boats, fishing gear, historical photographs, and maritime artefacts. Highlights include the original Covesea Lighthouse lens on display and a reconstruction of former Prime Minister Ramsay MacDonald's study, donated by his family.
Open 8th April to 28th September. Closed throughout Winter (October to March).
