Guisborough Town Hall has been beautifully restored and transformed into a stunning visitor gateway on the edge of the North York Moors. The ground floor houses the Heritage and Information Centre, managed by the Guisborough Town Hall Gateway CIC and run by volunteers, where families can discover the rich history of this historic market town through displays and local information.

The Grade II listed building, originally built in 1821 with a second floor added in 1870, officially reopened in April 2022 after a £1.3m National Lottery Heritage Fund restoration. The upper floors feature seven luxury bedrooms (sleeping 17) with en-suites, communal lounge and dining areas, lift access for disabled visitors, and secure bicycle storage.

The building is situated on Westgate in the heart of Guisborough, near the market cross and surrounded by shops, cafes, and the beautiful North York Moors National Park. It makes a perfect starting point for a family day out exploring Guisborough's heritage trails, Gisborough Priory, and the surrounding countryside.
