Ropner Park is a beautifully restored Victorian public park in Stockton-on-Tees, offering a fantastic outdoor space for families. Features include a large lake with water fowl, a tree-lined avenue leading to an ornamental fountain, a bandstand with summer concerts, tennis courts, a bowling green, a quoits green, and a cafe run by the Friends of Ropner Park. The park hosts seasonal fairs and events throughout the year. It was refurbished between 2004 and 2007 thanks to a £2.65m Heritage Lottery Fund grant. The park has a playground area, making it a great choice for a free family day out in Teesside. Open year round with free entry.
