Eden Camp is a WWII museum set in a former prisoner of war camp built in 1942 on farmland outside Malton. The site occupies the original camp buildings, with exhibits across 22 of the huts. Each hut covers a different aspect of wartime Britain—the Home Front, military action, civilian life—with immersive displays, interactive exhibits, mannequins, recordings of period radio broadcasts, and information about personal stories from the war. There is also a medal room. A café and gift shop are on site. Most visitors spend 3–4 hours exploring, though there is considerably more to read than can be digested in a single visit.
Seasonal museum: it runs a spring-to-autumn season and shuts for the winter. The 2026 season ran 23 March to 11 November 2026, 10:00-17:00 daily.
