The house where William Shakespeare was born in 1564 and lived as a child, in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon. You can walk through the rooms once inhabited by the Shakespeare family and see objects from the trust's collections. The new exhibition Becoming Shakespeare explores how place shaped the creative spark of William Shakespeare. There's also a Glover's Workshop, where you can discover John Shakespeare's trade as a glovemaker, and live performances in the gardens.
