No on-site parking. Several Pay & Display car parks within walking distance (e.g. West Orchards CV1 1QX, Belgrade Plaza CV1 4AJ). Blue Badge holders can park on Bayley Lane opposite the entrance.

The Herbert Art Gallery & Museum sits next to Coventry Cathedral in the heart of the city centre. Families can explore the History Gallery and the story of Lady Godiva, natural history specimens, archaeology and changing art exhibitions, all with step-free access and lifts between floors. There are family workshops and half-term events, early years sessions, sensory backpacks to borrow from reception, and children's party packages including Dippy the Dino. Baxter Baristas cafe is open on the courtyard for refreshments, and the gift shop is free to browse. Admission is charged (day pass or annual pass), but children under 5 and Go CV+ cardholders go free, and a free highlights tour is available on your smartphone.
