Pembroke Castle was established by the Normans in 1093 and is one of Wales' most impressive castles. The Great Keep was built by William Marshal, known as Europe's "Greatest Knight". Free guided tours run daily and cover over 900 years of history, including the birth of Henry VII and the English Civil War. Visitors can climb the Dungeon Tower, explore Wogan Cavern—home to the earliest humans in Britain—and visit the Castle Kitchen for food and drink. There's also a gift shop.
