Questions parents ask
- Is the pool manageable with a toddler and older child together?
- The pool runs dedicated sessions for babies and toddlers, and public swim sessions suitable for all ages and abilities, so you can choose what works for your group. There is soft play on site as well, which may suit children of different ages at the same visit.
- Is there somewhere to eat, or should we bring a picnic?
- There is a café with a menu on site, so you can buy refreshments without needing to pack a picnic.
- Can we just turn up, or do we need to book?
- You can pre-book your next session online, and the pool recommends booking rather than turning up on the day.
- What should we know about the inflatable sessions?
- The pool runs Spike Island, a 15-metre inflatable, during school holidays and every first Saturday during term time, so check the timetable to see when it's on.
