Facilities

Pecorama sits on a hillside above the fishing village of Beer on the East Devon coast and is home to the PECO model railway track company. Families can ride the Beer Heights Light Railway, a mile-long passenger line of miniature steam locomotives that runs through the gardens. The Model Railway Exhibition indoors shows detailed layouts in many gauges, which suits both enthusiasts and younger children. The landscaped gardens include themed areas such as the Millennium Gardens, the Secret Garden and the Wildway, with sea views over Lyme Bay. Outdoor play areas, a zip wire and a wild pond give children room to run about, and there is a model shop and food kiosks on site. The attraction is not running as a daily visitor attraction in 2026, so check the official site for the current opening days before travelling.
Seasonal and event-led opening in 2026; the Beer Heights Light Railway does not run in winter.
