Locked In A Room Exeter is a live escape game on Fore Street in the city centre. Teams are shut into a themed room with a set of puzzles and clues and have one hour to work out how to get out. The venue has four identical rooms, so several teams can play head to head at the same time, which suits birthdays and groups who like a friendly race. Each room is heavily dressed with props, and the venue says it is suitable for all ages, so families with older children often book in together. Younger players need an adult in the room with them. The rooms are air conditioned, which makes the visit comfortable in any weather. Players are free to leave through an unlocked door at any point, and there is no running or physical challenge. Groups can also book for team building, hen and stag parties, and corporate events. Nearby restaurants and bars are within a short walk for a meal before or after the game.
