The Panic Room is an entertainment centre in Gravesend town centre that started with escape rooms and has grown into a multi-activity venue. Each escape room is booked privately for your own group, so families play together without sharing the room with strangers. The rooms range from gentler family-friendly adventures and detective cases to horror-themed games that suit older players. The centre also runs Laser Quest laser tag, which takes players from around eight years old, along with axe throwing, private karaoke rooms, a retro arcade and a hosted television game show experience. Children under 12 need an adult aged 18 or over in the escape room with them, and the centre suggests a minimum age of 12 for most games. Booking in advance is recommended, particularly at weekends and during school holidays.
