Step back in time at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, a World War II Bomber Command museum set on a former RAF airfield at East Kirkby. It is home to the famous Avro Lancaster 'Just Jane' (NX611) - one of only two Lancasters in the world that still taxies under its own power - plus a Mosquito, a Hampden and rare wartime vehicles. Explore original wartime buildings including the control tower, hangars and a 1940s NAAFI cafe, and browse exhibits on Bomber Command history. Children can get hands-on with the aircraft and vehicles, and the centre runs regular taxy-ride experiences, special events and educational visits.

Wintertime (last Mon Oct - Easter): Tue-Sat 10:00-16:00 (last entry 15:00). Summertime (Easter - last weekend Oct): Tue-Sat 09:30-17:00 (last entry 16:00). Closed Sun & Mon.
