A woodland wildlife park on the edge of the New Forest National Park, set across several acres of trails and enclosures. Families can walk through some of the deer and wallaby areas, watch the park's otters and find species such as lynx, wildcats, owls and pine martens. Conservation and breeding work runs alongside the visitor trail, and keeper talks and feeding times are held through the day. Children tend to head straight for the two Go Wild adventure playgrounds, which have climbing nets, swings and log jumbles. There is a café and a gift shop on site, and the paths are mostly firm but include loose shingle and natural woodland ground, so pushchair and wheelchair users should plan the route in advance. Keeper experiences and wildlife birthday parties are offered for those wanting something more personal. It suits a half-day or full-day outing with younger children and school-age visitors alike.
Butterfly house runs Easter to end of September per the venue's wider site; Howl-O-Ween half-term events and large carnivore keeper experiences run in October.
