Manor Farm is a historic living-history farm run by Hampshire County Council inside River Hamble Country Park, close to Southampton. Families can meet the farm animals, watch the daily feeding and walking sessions, and step back into a late-Victorian farmstead with a blacksmith's forge, a wheelwright's workshop, a schoolroom and a wartime cottage. Younger children tend to enjoy the ride-on tractor circuit and the purpose-built Play Barn, which keeps the fun going in wet weather. The site suits a relaxed half-day out for young families and older children interested in farm life and history, and the surrounding country park offers waymarked woodland and riverside walks to extend the visit. Visitors can also buy refreshments on site.
