A club-run miniature railway where families can take a ride behind live steam or electric locomotives on a track laid out at the Viables Craft Centre. Public passenger running happens on set days through the warmer months, with extra sessions for a Miniature Steam Gala and a Halloween running day. Children tend to enjoy watching the engines being prepared and the long passenger run through the station, while the locomotives include steam engines, diesel-outline models and a traction engine track. The society also runs an elevated track for larger scale locomotives and a smaller garden railway loop. Visitors who want more time can wander the craft centre, which is open all year. Public rides are weather dependent and the society advises checking its public running dates before travelling.
