The Countryside Museum at Breamore is a post-war village museum where visitors walk through staged scenes of rural life. Full-size replicas of a dairy, a blacksmith's forge, a school room, a leather worker's shop, a village cottage and a village shop let children see how a self-sufficient village once worked. The collection has a strong focus on farm machinery, with tractors, steam engines and a steam workshop with a traction engine.
