What’s there
- Café on site
No parking at the Guildhall itself; the venue points visitors to public car parks in the city centre (St Giles, St Andrews, The Forum).
Only facilities we’ve confirmed are listed — anything missing here we simply haven’t checked, rather than know to be absent.
History Mystery runs live escape games inside Norwich Guildhall, a large medieval civic building in the heart of the city. Teams of up to about ten players work through an hour of clues and puzzles built around true stories from Norwich's past. Rooms include the historic cell block under the building, where the games are set in real former gaol cells, and parts of the Guildhall that visitors rarely see. The games suit older children, teenagers and adults who enjoy problem solving together, and they are not designed for young children, so families with primary-age children should check the age guidance before booking. Games need some manual dexterity and reading, and the lower levels are not step-free. A café operates in the same building, and the surrounding city centre has plenty to see once the game is finished.
