Standalone Farm is a small working farm set across 125 acres on the outskirts of Letchworth Garden City in North Hertfordshire. Families can walk the farmyard to meet the animals and watch how they are cared for, with feeding and milking demonstrations held during the day. The site has an adventure playground and outdoor play area for younger children, and a café and gift shop on site. Visitors can also follow the Garden City Greenway, a countryside path for walking, running or cycling around the town. The farm describes its visit as a family day out suited to infants and young children, and it works well as a relaxed half-day trip with little ones. Opening runs through the spring and summer into autumn, with a winter break, so check the seasonal times before setting out.
Seasonal opening February to November; closed in winter. Themed events run through the season.
