Whithaugh Park is a residential outdoor activity centre run by the charity Rock UK, set on a 110-acre estate beside forests and rivers near the village of Newcastleton in the Scottish Borders. Its website lists more than thirty instructed activities, including a 300 metre twin zip wire, gorge walking, high ropes, canoeing and kayaking on the centre's lake, archery and climbing. There is an indoor heated swimming pool, a sports hall and an all-weather pitch, and the centre sits next to one of the 7stanes mountain bike trails, with bike hire and a bike skills course on site. Accommodation is in Scandinavian-style log lodges. The centre says it suits families as well as school groups, youth groups and church groups, and it runs family adventure days and holidays. Activities are generally booked in advance, and instructed sessions are an extra on top of the stay or day booking.
