Green Lane Museum sits inside Roe Valley Country Park just outside Limavady, so it pairs naturally with a woodland walk along the river. The museum is run by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council and covers 19th and 20th century life in the Roe Valley, with displays on farming, local trades, domestic life and the linen industry. Children tend to enjoy the old machinery and everyday objects such as a spinning wheel, a milking machine and a horse-drawn baker's cart, which make the past easy to picture. Temporary exhibitions and craft demonstrations run at selected times through the season, and special events are held from time to time. The museum is compact, so a visit suits a relaxed hour rather than a full day out.
