Game of Thrones Studio Tour

The Game of Thrones Studio Tour is built inside Linen Mill Studios, the working film complex where much of the television series was shot. Visitors move through a self-guided route of recreated sets from the show, including Winterfell, King's Landing, Dragonstone and the Wall, and can look closely at costumes, weapons and props used on screen. Behind-the-scenes displays explain how the special effects and set design were made, which gives older children a window onto how television is produced. Tour guides are stationed along the route to answer questions. A typical visit takes two to three hours, so families should allow time for the on-site restaurant and the studio shop. The tour is indoors and suits fans of the series as well as curious teenagers and adults travelling with younger children.
