Thornton Hall Country Park is a family-run working farm and leisure attraction in the Craven countryside, close to the border between North Yorkshire and Lancashire. Younger children can handle small animals in the petting areas, meet the farm residents and watch the lambs and other stock, while older visitors often head for the deer park and the farm safari ride. There is an indoor soft play centre for wet or cold weather and outdoor play areas with jumping pillows for when the weather is kind. Pony rides and junior quad experiences are offered for an additional charge. The site runs seasonal events and live shows through the year, and it also has a diner and camping on the grounds. Birthday parties are a regular feature, so it suits both a casual family afternoon and a celebration with friends.
