Critter Creek Adventure Golf

Critter Creek is an outdoor adventure golf course set in the grounds of a health club on the edge of Windermere. The 18 holes are built around a woodland and creek theme, with obstacles to loop, bridges to cross and a raft to paddle across between holes, and sculpted wooden animals along the way. The holes are challenging enough to keep older children interested but gentle enough for younger players, so it suits a mixed family group as well as couples and friends. Visitors can book ahead online or pay on the day, and parking is free on site. Dogs are not allowed on the course, and children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. A round usually takes around three quarters of an hour, which makes it an easy addition to a day exploring the Lakes.
