Strokes Adventure Golf is an 18-hole mini golf course laid out below Sea View Terrace on the Westbrook seafront in Margate. The holes use natural-looking rockscapes, plants and water features as obstacles, so a round is more about reading the course than simply putting along a straight lane. The course is affiliated to the British Minigolf Association and has hosted British Open tournaments, so it suits families with older children and adults who enjoy a proper challenge as well as younger players. Younger children tend to enjoy the obstacles and the open-air setting by the sea. A small cafe serves coffee and snacks, and the course is dog friendly, which makes it an easy stop for a family walk along the front. No booking is needed; you simply arrive and play while the weather allows.
