Alpacaly Ever After

Alpacaly Ever After is an alpaca and llama experience run by a rescue-led social enterprise in the Lake District, with its main walks based on the Lingholm Estate on the western shore of Derwentwater near Keswick. Families can book a relaxed walk through the estate grounds with the animals, taking them along the lakeside, meeting the herd and joining feeding time. The walks are described as a flat, gentle stroll at alpaca pace and suit a wide range of ages and mobilities, and a shorter meet-the-alpacas session lets visitors hand-feed the herd on their home field. The operator also offers llama trekking and camping with alpacas for older and more adventurous visitors.
