A miniature railway run by the South Cheshire Model Engineering Society, with a quarter-mile raised track of 5-inch gauge steam and battery-electric locomotives. Families can take a train ride around the track on the society's public running days and special event days, which are held through the spring, summer and autumn. Event days have included a summer transport day with a wider programme of attractions and a Halloween running day where children in costume ride for free. Alongside the passenger trains there is a large raised Gauge 1 model railway to look at, and the clubhouse serves drinks and snacks on running days. The railway is volunteer-run and suits younger children who enjoy trains as well as railway enthusiasts of any age. Visitors should check the society's events page before travelling, as the track only runs on set dates.
