Free car park directly next to the farm, which also fits minibuses. Nearest bus stop is close to the entrance; roughly a 15 minute walk from the gate to the park.

Apple Jacks Adventure Farm is a day out built around play rather than animal viewing. The site describes itself as an adventure farm, and its attractions are aimed mainly at children aged four to twelve. Families can try zip wires, giant jumping pillows, a ball blaster arena, a roller skating rink, quad karts and mini diggers, with tractor rides around the farm and themed shows and discos laid on through the day. A maize maze opens in late summer for the season. The farm does not keep petting animals, so younger visitors who want to meet animals will not find that here. There is a farmhouse grill and an ice cream stall, and visitors may bring their own drinks and sandwiches. Covered areas give some shelter, though the farm is largely outdoors and it closes in severe weather. It runs mainly on weekends and school holidays, and it also offers birthday parties and group bookings.
