Stockley Farm Park is a working organic dairy farm of several hundred acres on the Arley estate in Cheshire, open to families as a countryside day out. Visitors arrive by a tractor and trailer ride down to the farm, then can watch the herd being milked from a viewing gallery beside the parlour. Hands-on areas let younger children meet rabbits, guinea pigs and chicks in the petting area, and in spring there are bottle-feeding sessions for lambs and calves. The farm suits families with young children best, since most of what is on offer is built around small animals and farm activity. Opening is seasonal and weekend-led, so check the farm's own contact details before travelling.
