Blakemere Village, formerly listed as Blakemere Craft Centre, is a family-run attraction set around a restored Edwardian stable courtyard in the Cheshire countryside. Families can spend a relaxed day here, with an indoor play barn for younger children, a free outdoor playground, and a woodland walk through the surrounding trees. Falconry and aviary displays, a craft workshop where children can paint pottery or try candle making, and a miniature railway add variety. Older children tend to enjoy the segway rides through the forest, crazy golf, archery and low ropes, and there is a fairground for rides. Much of the site is covered by a mix of independent gift shops, antiques and a restaurant with a children's menu, so adults can browse while the children play. The village runs throughout the year, and its activities suit a wide spread of ages, from toddlers to teenagers.
