Fancy's Family Farm is a community farm on the top of the Isle of Portland, run largely by volunteers and kept going by donations from visitors. The main draw is the animals: a flock of rare breed Portland sheep, wallabies, goats, pigs, donkeys, ducks, chickens, geese, rare breed horses and a barn owl. Families can buy small cups of feed to hand out to the animals. There is a large soft play room and a cafe serving hot and cold refreshments, and the site is mostly SSSI grassland, so wildflowers and wildlife such as lizards and slow worms are part of the walk around. The farm is exposed on a clifftop, and the site notes adders and ants nest on the grounds, so closed-toe shoes are advised. Dogs are not allowed into the animal enclosures.
