Salt Pig The Farm at Putlake is a family-run working farm in the village of Langton Matravers, on the Isle of Purbeck. Children can bottle-feed lambs and goats, groom the ponies, handle guinea pigs and rabbits, and say hello to pigs, alpacas, donkeys, cows and chickens. The farm has a large indoor soft play area for when the weather turns, plus outdoor play equipment for fine days. The on-site cafe and farm shop serves breakfast, lunches and a children's menu, so parents can relax while the children play. The farm also hosts children's birthday parties, nursery and school visits, and seasonal camping for tents and campervans from May to September.
